Security Officer

As a Security Officer at SR Global Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients, their assets, and their employees. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities, controlling access points, and monitoring surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threats
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Operate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidents
  • Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents
  • Collaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assets
  • Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requests
  • Conduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff members

Requirements:

  • Current Guard Card
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of time
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
