Summary
Alliance Detective & Security Service, Inc, seeks to hire Armed Security Officers who are friendly, professional, have law enforcement or military experience customer service and security experience. This position is at a federal building and requires background/clearance prior to starting on post. If you are interested in applying, please complete the on-line application. Work shifts: Part-time and full-time opportunities. We are looking for candidates that have flexibility and are available to work 8:00am - 4:30pm shifts. Must be available 2-3 shifts per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High Scholl Diploma or GED
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Drivers' License and Personally Owned Vehicle
- MA-LTC (employment or no restrictions)
- Verifiable training in "how to shoot" (military or law enforcement)
- Must possess personal handgun (9mm or 40cal.) and gunbelt
- Documented law enforcement or military experience
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Flexible work availability
- Command presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal cell phone (to call on and off duty with our dispatch center)
- Personal e-mail (to accept and confirm shift assignments)
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Ability to pass a CORI/SORI check
- Maintain access control to a secure facility
- Maintain a fully accurate log during your shift
- Report Writing
- Conflict management/resolution
- Emergency/Incident Response
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- On the Job Training
