Summary

To support the growth of Jiga's defense business, the full-time Defense Business Development Lead will build relationships with Tier 2/3 defense contractors and tech startups, identify large production opportunities, and represent the company at industry events, all while working remotely.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with Tier 2/3 defense contractors and defense tech startups to close large production opportunitiesRecruit and manage advisors, host events in defense hubs, and represent Jiga at defense conferencesCollaborate with marketing on defense positioning and provide insights to product development based on customer needsRequired qualifications10+ years of experience in the defense ecosystem, including connections with Tier 2 contractors and defense techProven ability to build relationships and close deals within the defense industryStrong presence and communication skills to engage with senior leaders and speak at conferencesSelf-starter with a proactive approach to creating and executing strategiesMust be a US citizen and based in a defense manufacturing hub
