Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative III to support Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

The Activity Security Representative III provides multi-disciplined security support to a government facility and organization and performs day-to-day security functions supporting Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

This senior-level position also provides leadership, mentoring, quality assurance, personnel security support, access processing, compliance support, and assistance with Air Force SAP security inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
  • Maintain document accountability databases and associated records.
  • Process inbound and outbound classified mail, receipts, courier packages, and correspondence.
  • Perform destruction and reproduction of classified materials.
  • Process accountable magnetic media.
  • Maintain document control and security administrative logs.
  • Process inbound and outbound electronic data transfers.
  • Maintain customer point-of-contact databases.
  • Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Escort visitors and maintain associated visitor-control records.
  • Assist with preparation and management of facility access badges.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Maintain facility access-control and visitor-control systems.
  • Maintain personnel security files for supported personnel.
  • Support security awareness and education programs.
  • Review, track, and monitor security-clearance processing activities.
  • Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections of government and industry organizations.
  • Implement Top Secret accountability controls for classified material and correspondence.
  • Prepare and process Program Access Requests for accuracy and access eligibility.
  • Execute Special Access Program nomination procedures and questionnaires.
  • Conduct applicable personnel security database and access reviews.
  • Maintain sponsored personnel access information and records.
  • Conduct security indoctrinations.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance to team members.
  • Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of related security experience.
  • Experience performing personnel, information, physical, industrial, or program security functions in classified environments.
  • Knowledge of classified document control and accountability procedures.
  • Experience supporting visitor control, personnel access, security administration, or related security operations.
  • Ability to work onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous Special Access Program experience.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification.
  • Special Program Security Certification.
  • Experience supporting Collateral, SCI, and SAP security programs.
  • Experience with personnel security databases and SAP access-processing activities.
  • Prior experience supporting SAP compliance inspections.
Education and Experience Equivalencies

A bachelor's degree is desired.

  • Associate's degree in a related field = 2 years of experience
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification = 1 year of experience
  • Special Program Security Certification = 1 year of experience
