Summary
Overview The Loss Prevention Lead serves primarily to mitigate and reduce losses through deterrence of external theft and execution of key operational programs.Role Responsibilities Internal and External Theft Deterrence and Awareness Monitors customer and teammate traffic for potential theft activity while following company standards of dress code and addressing concerning behaviors typically attributed to shoplifting or internal theft.Completes detailed and accurate incident reports in LPMS for all recoveries, shoplifting events and grab & go activity.Follows up with local authorities for after-the-fact external case resolution and prosecution.Creates an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.Requires 100% ability to walk sales floor, stockrooms and office areas during shift duration.Has ability to deescalate incidents involving confrontation by athletes exhibiting concerning behavior.Management of Loss Prevention Programs Supports, promotes and actively demonstrates company values related to customer engagement.Provides ad hoc support for the general needs of the business as necessary.Participates in Shrink Coach meetings, new hire orientation and conducts frequent training sessions with store teammates.May assist store Shrink Coach with execution of Shrink Business Plan on a limited basis.Conducts MES sweeps, fitting room checks and safety standards when athlete traffic is slow.Adheres to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.Maintains confidentiality of all company information.Teammate Traits Ensures AccountabilityCustomer-FocusCollaborativeInstills TrustDecision-Quality/Decision-Making AbilitiesAction-OrientedEngagement DriverTalent DeveloperEffective Team Building SkillsPlans & AlignsQualifications 1-3 years of prior LP or educational experience in Loss Prevention preferred.Targeted Pay Range: $19 - $28.
