Senior Operations DispatcherThis is a full-time Senior Operations Dispatcher position with Alta Point Logistics LLC (the "Company"), supporting daily operations for the Company's delivery of packages to Amazon customers.Alta Point Logistics is a locally owned and operated Amazon Delivery Service Partner committed to safety, reliable service, and a supportive employee experience. We are looking for an organized, dependable leader who communicates effectively, solves problems quickly, and can successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.The Senior Operations Dispatcher will oversee daily dispatch activities, monitor route progress, support Delivery Associates, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely and successfully.Benefits and SchedulingFull-time position$47,000–$52,000 per year, based on experience and qualificationsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesLeadership development and advancement opportunitiesFlexible availability is required, including weekends and holidaysSpecific schedule will be discussed during the interview processKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily dispatch and end-of-day delivery operationsConfirm employee attendance and operational readiness before routes departMonitor route progress and delivery performance throughout the dayIdentify potential delays, route disruptions, safety concerns, or service issues and coordinate an appropriate responseCommunicate effectively with Delivery Associates and provide timely support while they are on the roadCoordinate route rescues and other operational adjustments when team members require assistanceProvide coaching and feedback related to safety, attendance, service quality, and performance expectationsCoordinate with Company leadership, delivery employees, Amazon station personnel, and designated support teams as needed to address daily operational issuesAssist with employee scheduling, route assignments, staffing plans, and daily logistics coordinationReview operational data and identify performance trends or opportunities for improvementComplete shift handoff reports, incident documentation, and other required operational recordsEscalate vehicle, employee, customer, or safety concerns to Company leadership promptlyHelp maintain an organized, professional, and safety-focused work environmentEnsure daily operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, safety requirements, and Company policiesPerform other operational and leadership duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentTwo or more years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, delivery operations, or team leadership is preferredStrong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing operational needsComfortable using spreadsheets, communication platforms, GPS or routing systems, and operational dashboardsAbility to maintain confidential employee and business informationHave effective English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skillsAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysAuthorization to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with an Amazon Delivery Service Partner or another last-mile delivery operationFamiliarity with delivery performance metrics and route-management systemsExperience coaching or supporting a team of 20 or more employeesExperience with employee scheduling, dispatch operations, or fleet coordinationBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishWe are looking for team players who want to grow with the Company.
