Job Title: Security Site Supervisor
Location: Ambridge, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:00pm
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee daily field operations while also performing standard security duties. This role serves as a key link between field personnel and management, ensuring high service standards, proper staffing, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support security officers to ensure consistent service quality
- Conduct site inspections and complete electronic reports
- Enforce company policies, post orders, and safety procedures
- Investigate incidents and document findings thoroughly
- Assist with scheduling, payroll support, and staffing coordination
- Respond to call-offs and staffing shortages as needed
- Fill in for open posts when necessary (up to 50% of weekly hours)
- Train, mentor, and coach security staff
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Communicate regularly with operations management
- Maintain a professional and compliant work environment
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1–3+ years of security experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Military background is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Education & Requirements
- High School Diploma required (some college preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain required state security licensing/certifications
- Must pass background and motor vehicle checks
Working Conditions
- Combination of field and office work
- Open availability required, including overtime and short-notice changes
- May require local travel
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Must remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Ability to respond to emergencies and handle confidential information
