Temporary Court Operations AssociateThe Ninth Judicial District is seeking to fill a temporary Court Operations Associate position within Roseau County Court Administration. Term of temporary employment may continue to June 30, 2027.In this fast-paced and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for processing cases and assisting court customers and justice partners in order to provide justice through a system that assures equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies.This AFSCME-represented position is classified as a Court Operations Associate. Work is completed individually and in teams using independent judgment along with available resources to perform a variety of administrative assignments that requires dedication to providing excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, and technological skills to match our fast-paced, high volume, electronic environment.Example of Duties - What You Will DoThe following are examples of major job duties expected of this position:Perform the full range of court operation work that may involve responsibility for a specific area of court case processingPerform a variety of advanced clerical functions and multiple case typesProvide assistance to attorneys, parties, self-represented litigants, judges, and the public by responding to a variety of questions in-person, over the phone, by mail, and/or electronicallyProvide courtroom support by working with judges, court reporters, and other justice partnersReview, enter, record, and update case information using an electronic case processing system and related applications and equipmentSchedule and maintain court calendarsReceive, process, and receipt payments due to the courtAttend court and assist by calling cases, taking notes, and handling documents in the courtroomMay perform the duties of an Electronic Recording Equipment Operator (EREO) including recording and monitoring court proceedingsTypical Qualifications - What You Must HaveThe Minnesota Judicial Branch recognizes the diverse set of skills, strengths, and attributes that an individual may bring into a role. Term of temporary employment may continue to June 30, 2027.The salary for this position will be $22.00 per hour.
