Salary:
$18.00 Hourly
Nature of Work:
Assist with the maintenance and cleaning or the Boarder Barn and Children’s Farm. This includes cleaning out stalls and animal enclosures, cleaning animal bedding and discarding food waste, feeding animal. Must be comfortable around large horses, large birds, pigs, goats, and other farm animals. Work is performed primarily outdoors and at times in inclement weather. The role requires walking long distances, standing for long periods, working outside in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and having a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions with some experience in the care and feeding farm animals required. High school diploma desired. May be required to work on weekends and holidays. Must pass comprehensive background check and polygraph
THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
