Summary

Integrated Master Scheduler For The Air Force Life Cycle Management CenterJoin a high-performing project management team supporting U.S. Air Force acquisition and sustainment programs. This position is for an Integrated Master Scheduler for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, tracking, and analyzing defense acquisition program schedules, ensuring all project activities are accurately represented, and supporting the successful delivery of program goals and objectives.Scheduling responsibilities include the following:Develop, maintain, and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for various projects within the programWork closely with the Program Manager and Project Managers to identify project tasks, milestones, dependencies, and timelinesMonitor project progress and performance against the IMS, identifying potential risks, delays, and issuesConduct regular schedule reviews and status meetings with cross-functional project teams to track progress and address scheduling concernsConduct critical path analyses and schedule health and probabilistic risk assessmentsPrepare and present schedule status reports, updates, and forecasts to the Program Manager and other stakeholdersUtilize scheduling software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Primavera, Acumen) to develop, manage, and analyze project schedulesIdentify and implement schedule management best practices and process improvementsComply with defense acquisition scheduling policies, standards, and guidelines (e.g. NDIA Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide, GAO Schedule Assessment Guide, etc.)The candidate may also be required to perform a wide range of acquisition program office activities such as: gathering acquisition program information; conducting planning and analyses for all acquisition phases; assisting in acquisition strategy planning; implementing contractor performance status systems; assisting in establishing and maintaining databases; assisting in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies; and supporting program briefings.What You Will Need:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.Bachelor's degree; Associate's degree and FOUR (4) years of work experience may be used in lieu of Bachelor'sTHREE (3) years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within defense acquisition environmentStrong knowledge of defense acquisition scheduling methodologies, tools, and best practicesProficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Primavera, Acumen)What Would Be Nice to Have:Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP))Familiarity with the DoD acquisitionStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project performance measurement techniquesExperience with AI/ML a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levelsAbility to meet deadlines and produce quality workProficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPointThe annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00.
