To support bird conservation efforts, the full-time Conservation Impact Specialist will develop and advance ABC Conservation Practices by collaborating with various teams to create practical guidance for landowners and partners, while working remotely.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a standard framework for ABC Conservation Practices, ensuring they are based on the best available science and field experienceSupport regional program delivery by adapting conservation practices for specific regions and assisting staff in outreach and engagement effortsConnect conservation practices to funding and technical assistance programs, facilitating pathways for landowners to implement bird-friendly actionsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in wildlife biology, conservation biology, ecology, or a related field; advanced degree preferredAt least five years of relevant experience in bird conservation, habitat management, or conservation program deliveryStrong understanding of bird habitat needs and conservation practices across various habitat systemsExperience working with landowners, agencies, NGOs, or conservation partnershipsExcellent writing skills with the ability to translate technical information into accessible language
