If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you're invited to apply for this role.Fluor is a leading government contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-value technical solutions around the world to U.S. government agencies such as the DOE, NNSA, the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.Job Description ***Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance*** • Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility • Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents • Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times. • Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel • Remain alert and awake at all times to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals. • Work around active construction areas and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc) • Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas • Walk long distances, climb stairs (including stepladders, etc.), sit/stand for long periods of time • Wear appropriate work attire which may include a company provided dress uniform. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.Basic Job RequirementsA combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner *These are the typical years of experience required for this job. Current Fluor employees may be considered for this position either sooner or later, depending on individual performance, potential, and job availability. This applies to all jobs across all functions.Other Job Requirements• Active, fully adjudicated TS/SCI w/ polygraph is required. • Must have a valid driver's license. • Must be a US Citizen • A minimum of a HS diploma or GED. • 1+ year security experience. • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of timePreferred QualificationsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
