Security Specialist (USA Parkway)Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Facility / Construction Security Officer, where your vigilance and expertise will safeguard critical electrical infrastructure and construction sites around the clock. This role offers flexible hours to fit your schedule, empowering you to deliver top-tier security services in a fast-paced environment. As a key protector of vital assets, you will utilize your comprehensive security skills, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response, to ensure safety and compliance at all times. Your proactive approach and dedication will help maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property.Monitor and patrol electrical facilities and construction sites continuously using CCTV systems, access control systems, and physical patrols to deter unauthorized access or activity.Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and vendors to verify identities and ensure compliance with security protocols.Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity or breaches in real-time.Respond promptly to incidents by executing emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, fire safety measures, and conflict de-escalation techniques.Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for future review and legal purposes.Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for site safety or equipment movement while adhering to safety guidelines.Enforce security regulations by managing access control systems, performing routine patrols, and ensuring adherence to site-specific policies.Prior experience in security roles within electrical facilities, construction sites, or similar environments is highly desirable.Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols.Demonstrated ability to operate surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control platforms effectively.Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, and conflict management is preferred.Strong skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy.Background in military or law enforcement service can be advantageous due to familiarity with security operations.Physical capability for prolonged patrols, heavy lifting tasks, and manual handling activities required for site safety.License/Certification:OSHA 10 (Preferred)PILB (Preferred)All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
