OverviewJob Title: JuniorWatch OfficerLocation: 6315 Bren Mar Drive, Alexandria, VA 22312Summary: This program supports services by providing continuous watch, briefing, and analytical support for the customer's Operations Center and Incident Management System. The effort delivers 24/7 situational awareness through the monitoring, analysis, synthesis, and dissemination of operational, intelligence, and incident-related information impacting federally protected facilities nationwide. Contractor support includes producing executive-level briefings, daily and emergent reports, geospatial and data-driven products, and coordinating information flow across the regions, DHS components, and interagency partners. The program operates in both classified and unclassified environments and is designed to support steady-state operations, special events, emergencies, and incident response, ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable information to support mission-critical decision-making.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the quality of deliverables provided and performance of contract watch standersManages watch functions, processes, and information flowPrioritize tasks and efforts and coordinate information gathering and reporting with other elementsMaintain situational awareness of DHS related events, incidents, and threats and participate in daily NOC Operations callsBrief senior leadership on priority information requirementsReview and approve incident reports and reporting products before distributionMaintain RFI database, assign RFIs, track RFIs, and ensure RFIs are reviewed and approvedCapable of maintaining the COPProduce, review, and brief the DOSR and ensure DOSR is distributedMaintain distribution lists and telephone rostersCapable of producing limited GIS imagery to support reporting productsMaintain reviews watch turnover/pass down reportAccess, navigate, and utilize DHS law enforcement data systems and networks (to secret clearance level)Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functionsCollect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or productsDevelop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementationShould be able to type 65-70 words per minute and is skilled in Adobe and Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, WordRequirementsA Junior Watch Officer shall have 3 years of experience in operation centers, emergency management, dispatch, first responder (law enforcement/fire/rescue) or related workMinimum requirement of a BA/BSCandidate should have Active Secret Clearance#J-18808-Ljbffr
