Summary
Job DescriptionAs a Patrol Officer you will provide armed security for all BIW facilities.Follow all company and department operating procedures.Write incident reports and maintain logs.Must be able to work fixed posts, waterborne assignments and conduct walking checks of facilities.This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire. For more information regarding the security clearance process, please visitInvestigations & Clearance ProcessRequired/Preferred Education/TrainingHigh school diploma or GED required.Must be able to work any of three 8-hour shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.Must be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required.Must successfully complete psychological testing and medical review.Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.Required/Preferred ExperiencePolice or security-related training preferred.Minimum of one year in security-related field preferred.Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties required.Watercraft operations certified preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
