Summary
************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************The Code Enforcement Officer I investigates, inspects, and enforces municipal, land development, and property maintenance codes within city boundaries. Schedules and performs systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED.EXPERIENCE:Two (2) years of heavy citizen/customer service contact resolving complaints and/or conflicts, service and/or billing disputes.EQUIVALENCY:A current Code Enforcement Officer Trainee certification (or higher) issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) will meet the education and experience requirements.LICENSE and CERTIFICATION:Valid driver's license with good driving record.Must obtain certification as a Code Enforcement Officer Trainee issued by TDLR within probationary period.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:#J-18808-Ljbffr
