Security Officer – High-Rise Medical Center -77054
We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at a high-rise medical center. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, alert, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol the building and surrounding areas
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and medical staff
Control access to restricted areas and monitor entrances and exits
Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
Assist with crowd control and difficult or sensitive situations
Monitor security cameras and building activity
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
Communicate effectively with building management, medical staff, visitors, and emergency personnel
Multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy high-rise environment
Follow all site security procedures and healthcare facility policies
Qualifications
Previous security experience required
High-rise, hospital, medical center, or commercial building experience preferred
Strong observation and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Ability to multitask and make sound decisions
Professional appearance and customer-service attitude
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Valid security license as required by state law
