Summary
Nation Security is looking for a dependable, professional Security Officer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will safeguard assigned facilities, respond to incidents, and protect sensitive information.
Please note: Only candidates who currently hold or are eligible for a Confidential Security Clearance will be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol & Surveillance: Monitor and secure designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or security breaches.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and decisively during security incidents or emergencies.
- Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate, detailed logs and submit timely reports regarding daily activities and unusual occurrences.
- Information Security: Handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Clearance: Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Confidential Security Clearance (Required).
- Licensing: Valid Florida Security Class D License required; Class G License is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Background in security operations, military, or law enforcement.
- Certifications: Valid Driver's License (Required).
- Skills: Excellent communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
- Requirements: Fluent in English; must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Commute: Reliable transportation to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Position Details & Benefits
- Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Contract options available.
- Compensation: $18.00 – $25.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).
- Hours: 30–40 hours per week.
- Shift Options: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts; must be available for weekends, holidays, or on-call duties as needed.
