Job SummaryThe Security Site Lead oversees daily security operations on a large-scale construction site, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and property. This role supervises security staff and coordinates closely with site leadership to ensure efficient, secure operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise security officers, gate attendants, and work zone traffic flaggers
- Enforce access control, badging, and site entry procedures
- Monitor site activity through patrols and observation
- Oversee traffic flow, deliveries, and contractor access
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
- Complete daily activity and incident reports
- Coordinate with project management and SaberOne leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA guidelines
- Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve on-site issues
- Approve time-off requests, manage overtime, and oversee employee timecards to ensure proper staffing and accurate payroll reporting
- 3+ years of security experience (construction preferred)
- Proven experience managing staff in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong, proven communication skills with both clients and staff
- Valid Maryland security guard license (as required)
- Flagger certification (e.g., ATSSA) preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
