Summary
DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Lead Construction Surveillance Technicians (LCSTs) to support a large-scale, cleared data center construction project. The LCST plays a critical role in safeguarding classified information and ensuring construction activities comply with national security requirements.
This position provides technical leadership and oversight to Construction Surveillance Technicians (CSTs), coordinates closely with Site Security Management, and ensures all surveillance activities are executed, documented, and maintained in strict compliance with approved security procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee day-to-day construction surveillance operations at a cleared construction site.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and tasking to assigned CST personnel, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to security standards.
- Conduct continuous surveillance and inspections of construction activities to identify, report, and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure surveillance coverage aligns with approved security plans and contractual requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of surveillance activities, findings, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with Site Security Managers, Campus Security Management, and project stakeholders to support secure project execution.
- Verify that all construction personnel comply with established security protocols and access limitations.
- Assist in training CST personnel on surveillance techniques, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining audit-ready documentation and demonstrating compliance with security controls.
- Stay current on construction surveillance best practices, counterintelligence awareness, and applicable security directives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician, including lead or supervisory responsibilities.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
- U.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cleared construction projects or sensitive facilities.
- Strong understanding of construction surveillance methodologies, reporting requirements, and security controls.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and situational awareness skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic construction environment and support a 24/7 operational posture as required.
