Ex: Organizer, Finance Assistant, Social Media Manager)JOB DESCRIPTIONDan Osborn for U.S. Senate is hiring an Scheduling and Advance Associate to keep the campaign's day-to-day logistics running smoothly in one of the most closely-watched Senate races in the country. This role blends scheduling support with hands-on event and advance logistics — from managing calendars and travel to setting up staging at parades and community events ahead of the candidate's arrival. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a behind-the-scenes role that keeps the team on track and accountable. This position reports to the Operations Director.Responsibilities will include:Managing campaign logistics including scheduling, travel, and office operationsProviding ad-hoc logistical and project management support to the candidate's schedulePlanning, coordinating, and executing the logistical and operational details of campaign events, parades, and community appearances prior to the candidate's arrivalTraveling ahead of events to assist with venue setup and logistics coordinationCoordinating with local organizers, volunteers, vendors, and venue staffAssisting with staging, signage, campaign materials, and event presentationSupporting candidate travel logistics and on-site movements during eventsTroubleshooting operational issues on-site and communicating updates to the Operations DirectorSetting up and maintaining tools like Google Workspace, NGP VAN, and project management platformsSupporting compliance with campaign employment practices and reporting requirements as needed.Qualifications:Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.Ability to stay calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment.Comfortable with Google Workspace, NGP VAN, ActBlue, or similar project management platformsAbility to lift and move campaign materials and event equipment up to 30-50 pounds.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with willingness for frequent in-state travel and occasional overnight travelPrevious experience in campaign operations, compliance, scheduling, or event/advance work is a plus, but not requiredA friendly, professional, and collaborative demeanor when interacting with staff, volunteers, and the publicMeticulously organizedThis is a full-time, in-person position based in Nebraska that will end when the campaign concludes in November 2026. Due to the variability of the campaign schedule, this role requires the ability to work long and unscheduled hours, including nights and weekends, on a very regular basis, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods during events and advance work.This is a salaried position that will be compensated between $4,500 and $7,000 per month, based on experience.
