Required Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Minimum of two years' experience in a higher education, aviation or industrial environment
Demonstrated supervisory experience
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of departmental facilities to ensure safe, clean and orderly operation
Submit and track work orders along with other documentation
Assist in the procurement, tracking, and regular inspection/movement of departmental aviation equipment
Coordinate with Facilities, Campus Safety, IT, and Student Life
Support accreditation visits, FAA inspections, airport administration visits and guest tours
Supervise lab technicians and student workers
Assist with the planning and scheduling of classes and/or special events
Attends or conducts meetings to exchange information; attends in-service training and classes, seminars, or conferences to improve professional skills. Performs related tasks as necessary such as serving on committees.
Support the Chair/Director of the School of Aeronautical Sciences
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Successful candidate should be flexible and highly effective at multi-tasking
Possess strong organizational skills
Demonstrated the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
Must have good customer service skills and effective in communicating orally and verbally
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and comfortable learning new software
