Loss Prevention Associate

About the Job

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for assisting with security and loss prevention activities within the Distribution Center by supporting division objectives. Duties include, but not limited to, providing security services to managers and associates within the distribution center.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for loss prevention and shortage control programs, taking an active role in identifying all forms of loss, motivating shortage control involvement, and helping to identify shortage control solutions.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors including the facility, as well as drivers and sales representatives.
• Provide security for the company warehouse, offices, and general assets against theft, vandalism, fire, and illegal entry.
• Utilizing a variety of methods, the security associate monitors and assists with the tracking of product shortage.
• Responsible for investigating reports of known or suspected internal theft, violence or the threat of violence or other criminal acts of an associate
• Provide oversight and assistance in the management of third-party security services.
• Conducting company shrink compliance audits in the distribution center and facilitating improvement of shrink results.
• Develop and maintain a rapport with the various agencies as needed, coordinated investigations with internal or outside agencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
