Crossing Guard
Position requires two hours of time outside, regardless of weather, all school days of the year. High school diploma required. Desire to work with children required. Experience working with children and education background encouraged.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist students/families crossing the road during the morning drop-off and after school pick up times
- Assist students/families in using the crosswalk through the middle school campus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position
- Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
