Garage Door Service Technician Dispatcher Banko Overhead Doors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Garage Door Service Technician Dispatcher. The primary responsibility of the Dispatcher will be to efficiently coordinate service routes based on customer requests and geography, dispatch service technicians, and ensure all information provided is correct and routing is accurate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the geography in West Central Florida, organizational skills, and the ability to pivot as needed.Key Responsibilities:Schedule service appointments based on technician's availability and customer preferences.Dispatch service technicians to assigned jobs, providing them with all necessary information and directions.Monitor technician schedules and job progress to ensure on-time arrivals and completion of service calls.Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, estimated arrival times, and any delays or changes to their service appointments.Maintain accurate records of service requests, appointments, and technician assignments in the dispatching system.Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and installation, to prioritize and schedule service calls effectively.Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously, seeking resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.Receive incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, or online platforms.Gather relevant information from customers, including their contact details, location, and description of the issue.Qualifications:2+ years in a dispatching role or 5 years in a relatable role.Familiarity with garage door systems and terminology is a plus.Understanding our different service locations' geography.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in computer software, including dispatching systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Benefits:Competitive Hourly RateComprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentPositive work environment with a supportive teamIf you are a motivated and customer-oriented individual with a passion for providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for the Garage Door Service Technician Dispatcher position at Banko Overhead Doors.
