About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and experienced Deputy General Counsel to join its legal leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the General Counsel, providing high-level legal guidance and support to the executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to scale with excellence, particularly in the areas of project development, commercial, financing, and strategic initiatives. The Deputy General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to, serving as a strategic advisor on legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, and risk management issues, overseeing the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, and supporting the company's legal strategy and department roadmap.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, and a minimum of 12 years of legal experience, with a strong background in corporate law, commercial transactions, governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management. The role requires a proven ability to manage complex transactions, develop legal processes, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, industrial, construction, manufacturing, technology, or other highly regulated industries, and must be adept at operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
