Position Description
Provides project management including adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Plans, schedules or coordinates projects activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance. Coordinates the overall integration of the project. Supervises and directs project personnel; assigns duties and responsibilities.
Major/Essential Functions
- Coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting with process improvement efforts, and supporting customer service operations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, departmental staff, leadership, vendors, and stakeholders to help ensure projects are organized, tracked, and completed efficiently.
- Assisting with scheduling, communication, project coordination, financial tracking, and maintaining effective workflows to support departmental goals and operational needs.
- Provides in-house project management services for Facilities department for new facilities, renovation projects, adaptations & modernizations, and liaison work on Capital Projects.
- Consults with clients to determine project requirements, scope, program and prepare information regarding specifications, design, schedule, estimated costs and related.
- Prepares specifications for bid or proposal packages and construction documents. Evaluates bids, proposals and submissions and provides recommendations. Administers construction contracts & agreements.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, vendors, customers, and project teams to facilitate communication and project progress.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.
